TMS (Talent Management System)
The Talent Management System is the system that you use to complete online mandatories to be completed within 30 days of commencing work. It keeps a record of your learning. You may not have access to your TMS by the time you commence. If that is the case, just check every few days until it is activated.
Your TMS access can only be created after you have signed and returned your acceptance of job offer letter (which you return to recruitment services). This can only be achieved once you have provided all your paperwork to your hiring line manager, and they have completed and submitted your hiring paperwork through the myHR system. Any delays in providing your line manager your paperwork may delay your start and/or orientation
ALL STAFF must complete the Legislative and Corporate Mandatory Training modules. Some of these modules are to be completed on an annual or second-yearly basis. The TMS will automatically assign what you need to complete and update when you are due. You are encouraged to check TMS regularly to keep up to date. There is a box at the bottom of this page explaining the TMS.
Finally, in most circumstances your Manager (NUM/NM) will arrange for you to have supernumerary buddy time. It is important that you use this time well to identify any learning needs you may have. This can be discussed with your manager when you do your initial Performance Development Plan (PDP) - usually between week 4 or 6. You are encouraged to set this appointment with your manager.
Nurses use many computer systems to improve communication regarding the care of patients - whether it be their location, their tests, or their referrals. We also use systems to support decision making about nursing resources - how they are allocated. Two essential systems we would like you to be aware of are PFM (Patient Flow Manager) and Trendcare (known as Trend). Please read through all the below fact sheets.
