Staff wellbeing matters at Metro North. Our staff psychologists work within a comprehensive network of support alongside our peer responders and the employee assistance program provided by TELUS. Our team provide confidential psychological support pathways and consultation to individuals and teams.

Metro North are committed to prioritizing our people’s wellbeing, as outlined in our Values in Action and Putting People First Strategy. The Metro North Peer Responder Program is a program designed to support staff wellbeing and promote help seeking behaviours. Peer Responders, who have been trained in Psychological First Aid, are available for staff at all hospital and community directorates across the HHS to provide support to colleagues experiencing distress of any kind (professional or personal).

Our free mental health services help connect you to that person.
